A sophisticated network for Elgi
Equipments Ltd. comprising Wireless links between their plants and to
the Internet Service provider, Virtual Private Network (VPN) linking their
various locations across the country and suppliers through the internet
to their Supply Chain management system - over 100 locations, and copper/fibre
based structured network within
the offices and plants.
Kongu Engineering College,
Perundurai
Designed and implemented a 400-node capacity Local
Area Network for their computer centre. A high-speed network with switched
10Mbps to each workstation. Each work group (of 24 workstations max.)
and the servers are collapsed on a 100Mbps backbone switch with a 3.2Gbps
switch back plane. Hence a high-speed connectivity between the server
and the workstations are established. The cabling plant has been designed
and implemented based the relevant EIA structured cabling standards.

Designed and implemented the network and cabling infrastructure. The network
is a switched network with high speed up link to the servers. We have
also carried out structured cabling of the entire building.
